Nancy Newman Founder and CEO
Nancy has been helping organizations drive to breakthrough results through top talent acquisition for over three decades as a master recruiter and trained oncological coach. Focusing on enterprise corporations and high-level talent, Nancy is highly intuitive with a knack for asking intelligent questions which lead to astute insights.
Nancy was introduced to the Oil and Gas industry when she and a team of organizational consultants helped rebuild the culture at BP after the Texas City Disaster of 2005. And she has been helping recruit, develop and retain leaders in the industry ever since.
As the “Queen of the Purple Squirrels,” she believes that everyone can (and should) be a leader at every level. And when she isn’t leading the company, she is spending time with Finn, family, friends, and mastering the French language.

Kate works directly with our clients and candidates to ensure a smooth process to deliver the “perfect match.” She is kind yet persistent in getting the job done. Kate arrived in the talent solutions world after spending time traveling the world and using her skills in the non-profit sector. Fluent in Spanish, she enjoys helping others find their passion and being their best.

Liz Diaz Executive Office Assistant
Liz is the “do-it-all” assistant that keeps everything running smoothly-literally. Extract Talent has been blessed with Liz’s feisty, fearless influence since 2020. Growing up in Mexico as the youngest of 10, she ventured to the United States and recently became a US citizen. She a true master of many trades ranging from botanist to chef to household engineer. And is one heck of a soccer player.

Finn Best Friend
Finn – our favorite noble Goldendoodle – has been with Nancy since 2013. His main role is to provide day to day love and affection to everyone he interacts with and remind us all that dogs have a pretty good life. And all people should too!
